Well it has been 2 weeks on them. At first I did not think they were going to help. But I’m on my 3 patch and it has helped. This week has been better. Now I still get anxiety but it goes fast. I’m also on medication and have cut back my Xanax to only a half during the day and half at night before bed. I was up to 3 a day. But only for about a month. I usually only need a half before bed. I'm on day 12. I started noticing I'm more calm on day 7. So far so good. I have extreme anxiety and got the Got Your Six patches. Much like others say, I still anxious thoughts, but it doesn't go into a full on panic. Therefore this is a win no matter what in my book. In December of 2023 my son, Matt, experienced a very bad anxiety attack. He is prone to social anxiety but has been able to control it with distraction and supplements. This attack was so bad that it landed him at the hospital 2 times. Now, 8 months later, I find myself reflecting on my healing journey, and how much I believe this patch has contributed to where I currently am. My nervous system had been in active hypervigilance for 60 years. Through therapy, I was able to cease that pattern in August 2022, but my system has muscle memories for it. Finding ways to encourage familiarity with this new mode of living was quite difficult.
